At Cocoon Wood, the unusual comes from the setting: a dense forest in the Avant-Pays savoyard, a wooden eco-lodge built on land its creators cleared themselves, and a natural pool born from a fire-protection pond dug with a mechanical digger. The private hot tub is at the heart of the experience. No need to book a slot, no other couple waiting their turn. It’s there, ready, at any time. After a hike on the Dent du Chat, after a bike ride to Lac du Bourget, or simply because you feel like it at 3pm on a Sunday.
The sauna follows the same logic: private, available whenever you like, accessible from the lodge without meeting anyone.
Outside, the brazier completes the picture for evenings that refuse to end. A bottle of Roussette de Savoie, the sky above, the forest all around. The kind of moment you don’t plan and still talk about long afterwards.

In the morning, breakfast is left at your door. Local produce, flavours of Savoie, nothing industrial. Eat whenever and however you like, with no set times and no shared dining room.
In the bathroom, Soi de Soi skincare products await you. The sheets come from a French brand, chosen for their softness. Scented candles, books, meditation accessories: every detail has been thought through so you don’t have to think about anything.
